In Contact! Episode 1: Weather and Seasons

The weather: one of the most common topics for conversation. Also, many of our plans might depend on the weather! How would you describe the weather in the place where you live? How about the seasons in your country?
In our first episode of In Contact with English, we'll discuss adverbs of mode or modifiers, which can be helpful when describing the intensity of the weather. Also, in In Contact with the World, we'll explain the difference between weather and climate, and describe the different seasons. We'll have some conversational expressions in our Idiom Dose, of course related to the weather. We'll analyse useful vocabulary used in the weather forecast in our section Breaking News. And, of course, you can't miss this episode's Top 5! with songs whose lyrics are connected somehow with the weather. Last but not least, we'll try to talk about the weather without interruption in Just a Minute!
